Gill Group Foundation (GGF) is excited to announce our recent successful donation to the Liberian Chimpanzee Rescue and Protection (LCRP) programme.

The LCRP is the first and only chimpanzee sanctuary programme of its kind in Libera. Founded by husband and wife Jenny and Jimmy Desmond, the LCRP have been helping to care for and rescue chimpanzees from bushmeat and pet trades for over five years.

Working alongside local chimpanzee experts and international animal welfare organisations, the LCRP currently have over forty orphaned and at-risk chimpanzees under their care and are helping to rescue more animals daily.

GGF are extremely proud that our contributions towards the LCRP have helped support the grand opening of a new sanctuary and conservation centre in Liberia.

Everyone at the GGF hopes that Gigi, Tula, Dorothy and all the other chimpanzees at the sanctuary can continue to live out their lives in peace under the safety of the sanctuary.
